Ambassador Bleich was among those on hand to break ground for the Family Violence Prevention Fund’s new international center at the Presidio National Park in San Francisco. He was joined by Australian actress Nicole Kidman, the Goodwill Ambassador for UN Development Fund for Women, and Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi. The Family Violence Prevention Fund is one of the world's most innovative and respected agencies working to stop violence against women and children. The Ambassador was one of the founding members of the Fund’s Founding Fathers campaign, a national effort that engages fathers in helping combat domestic violence and features the “Coaching Boys into Men” program.
