James B. Peake, M.D., the U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs, talked about veterans rehabilitation programs in America during an October visit to Australia to exchange ideas and best practices with counterparts in Australia. In addition to visiting the Australian War Memorial in Canberra, he also gave the keynote address to a national colloquium on rehabilitation — a joint initiative with the Australian Department of Veterans Affairs and the Defense Department.
