337TH AIR SUPPORT FLIGHT
PERSONAL PROPERTY SHIPMENTS
FROM/TO AUSTRALIA FOR RETIREES
INBOUND
The 337th Air Support Flight provides assistance with Personal Property shipments to and from Australia, except Alice Springs, Northern Territory. For shipments to and from Alice Springs contact the Traffic Management Office at Alice Springs. Information provided below.
Inbound Personal Property shipments are consigned to the 337th ASUF/LGT for disposition. Upon arrival shipments are cleared thru Australian Customs and Australian Quarantine Service. All customs and quarantine charges are at member’s expense. It is highly encouraged to have a point of contact in Australia at the time of your shipments arrival. You must complete an Australian Customs document, B-534, and include a copy of your passport to include all pages regardless of entry stamps.
The shipment can then be delivered to residence or place into temporary storage at government expense for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days. Once delivery is competed you have 70 days in which to establish a claim thru the 337th ASUF/LOM.
OUTBOUND
Personal Property shipment departing Australia for personnel on retirement orders can be organized by the 337th ASUF/LGT or TMO Alice Springs. We do not process commercial shipments. Entitlement briefings can be conducted over the phone.
