Effective January 1, 2008, applicants for all categories of immigrant visas, including diversity visas and non-immigrant K visas are required to pay new fees. All fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and must be paid on the day of your interview. All U.S. Consular fees worldwide are established in U.S. dollars (USD). For a complete list of U.S. immigrant and nonimmigrant visa fees please refer to travel.state.gov.
The new schedule of fees is as follows:

The new fee is US $131.00 Applicants who paid the prior US $100 before January 1, 2008, will be processed only if they are scheduled and appear for a visa interview before January 31. Applicants who paid the prior US $100 application fee and appear for the visa interview after January 31, 2008 must pay the difference — US $31.00 before they can be interviewed. |

Please refer to the Australia Post website for further information regarding money orders. Payments made or received in Australian dollars are subject to the current official exchange rate which is subject to change without notice. In order to avoid unnecessary delays, we recommend that payments be sent in U.S. dollars. Personal or company checks will not be accepted.
