Notarial Fees
- All fees may be subject to change without notice and are non-refundable.
- All U.S. consular fees worldwide are established in U.S. dollars (USD). For some common consular services we have listed the Australian dollar (AUD) equivalent on the relevant fee information web page.
- The Consulates General do not, under any circumstances, accept cash sent through the mail.
Special Notice
On July 31, 2008, the U.S. Embassy in Australia revised the consular exchange rate from AUD1.15 to AUD1.10.
Payments received by American Citizen Services in Australian Dollars on or after July 31, 2008 will be subject to the revised consular exchange rate. Incorrect payments will be returned and the correct amount will be requested. We do not accept payments for incorrect or multiple checks/money-orders for these services even if you have overpaid. Payment must be for the correct amount in Australian Dollars.
Payments in U.S. Dollars will not be affected.
